Brewing Tips:

  • Pour 200 ml of water into a pot and boil it (90-95°C)
  • Add one teaspoonful (2.5 grams)
  • Let the tea leaves steep for 3-5 mins
  • Add sugar and milk to your taste

ABOUT ASSAM TEA

Assam is the largest tea growing region in the world covering about 2,16,200 hectares of land and producing more than 400 million kgs of tea each year. The harvest is done twice in a year. The first flush harvest starts in the month of February and has a flowery fragrant and bright golden yellow when brewed. The second flush happens during May-June and the best Assam teas are harvested during this time with a full, spicy, malty flavour a rich rich coppery red to deep brown color in the cup.

The Chayi offers you 100% naturally grown whole leaf tea. Our small-scale tea growers from Assam put great effort into using only organic and traditional methods to make these special teas which are of superior quality the most flavourful.
